Parking
There are a few options available and an online booking tool here www.aucklandairport.co.nz/airport-parking as well as a downloadable map of the car parks.
Economy
Park & Ride North - fifteen minutes to the terminal by free bus that departs every ten minutes
Car Park E International - ten minutes walk to the terminal
Car Park K Domestic - five minutes walk to the terminal
Car Park L Domestic - ten minutes walk to the terminal
Standard
Car Park D International - ten minutes walk to the terminal
Car Park M Domestic - five minutes walk to the terminal, closest to Air New Zealand desks
Car Park O Domestic - five minutes walk to the terminal
Executive
Domestic Valet - at the terminal
International Valet - four minutes walk to the terminal
Car Park R Domestic - one minute walk to the terminal
Drop Off
There is a designated area at both terminals for drop off and pick up - but with no waiting allowed.
Domestic - in the forecourt
International - ground floor of the Transport Hub, in front of the terminal
To assist with the no-waiting element, there is a free waiting zone marked W on the map. This allows up to thirty minutes.
Alternatively, you can use Car Park D. This is a ten minute walk or else there is a free bus from Car Park D and E, 0500-2300, every fifteen minutes. Car Park D is free for five minutes, $3 for up to ten minutes, $6 for fifteen minutes.

Shuttles
The Park and Ride shuttle operates every ten minutes, running to the Domestic terminal 0300-2337 and International terminal 24 hours.
There is an inter-terminal shuttle (details in Terminal Transfers). The Ibis hotel can be accessed via a paid Yellow Bus.

Taxis
The airport licenses specific taxis for pick up (any can drop off). There are designated ranks at the terminals.
International Terminal - taxi and shuttle ranks are in the Transport Pick Up Zone lane 1. This is north of the Transport Hub outside International Arrivals. It is about seven minutes walk to the Te Arikinui Pullman hotel.
Domestic Terminal - the rank is outside Door 4.
It is about $35 for one person, $8 per additional person, to the city centre. Companies heading to the CBD offer a fixed rate with this ranging from $62-$95.
In addition there is a Super Shuttle that can be as little as $20 per person for the CBD. These pick up in Transport Pick-Up Zone lane 2.
Buses and Coaches
There are a couple of specific bus services.
Airport Link - from Bus Stop B (Domestic) and Bus Stop A (International at Transport Hub), 0430-0040, every ten minutes, heads to Puhinui train station
38 - from Bus Stop B (Domestic) and Bus Stop A (International at Transport Hub), day time, every fifteen to twenty minutes, heads to Onehunga via Mangere
For both services you will need an AT HOP card. These can be bought online, from AirGo Convenience (Domestic), Take Home Convenience (International) or machines at Transport Hub Bus Stop A. This card can be used on trains too. Fares are zonal with buses a maximum of $8.50 and a daily cap of $20.
Other services are as follows.
Sky Drive - from Bus Stop A (Domestic) and Bus Stop E (International at Transport Hub), 0500-2230, every thirty minutes, heads to Sky City bus terminal. Buy online or by card from the driver.
Intercity - from Bus Stop E (International at Transport Hub), online tickets.
Rail and Trams
The nearest station is Puhinui train station which can be reached using the Airport Link bus above.

Terminal Transfer
There is a free shuttle bus that runs every fifteen minutes from 0500-2300, taking ten minutes.
